Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs, as well as supervises, loading and unloading of various stock by lifting to and from shelves.
  • Assigns and leads daily work order instructions to the Warehouse Staff.
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area.
  • Responsible for managing the process of inbound, stocking, and outbound of all inventories.
  • Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders and verify order accuracy.
  • Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and establishing updating existing work procedures and practices.
  • Ensures warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
  • Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew.
  • Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.
  • Coordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues and requests.
  • Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
  • Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the warehouse staffs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A strong work ethic and a clear open mind willing to understand how the company needs the warehouse to be run properly.  
  • Two to four years related warehouse management experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.

We are looking for a dependable person who enjoys working in a team oriented fast paced environment. This job requires good customer service and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Order Entry and Back Orders
• Verifies orders for accuracy, including but not limited to part numbers, pricing, quantity, shipping location, billing information, etc..
• Accurately and efficiently enter and processes orders into ERP system, according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Confirms product availability in order to fulfill customer orders; reroutes orders as necessary based on stock availability; cross-references part numbers as needed,
communicates proactively with customers to determine most efficient lead-time and enters orders accordingly.
• Manages backlog of assigned open sales orders, ensuring that orders flow through the order fulfillment cycle quickly.
Customer Service
• Provides order follow up communications with customer.
• Facilitates ongoing communication/collaboration between all departments to achieve order quality and improvement.
• Manage and respond to inbound customer service-related inquiries.
• Build customer relationships through open and interactive communication.
• Provide accurate and timely information related to various order statuses.
• Research, manage and process return authorizations, order tracking, shipment issues and defective quality claims in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Work across various departments and teams to resolve customer issues.
Customer Set-Up / Pricing
• Create and set up customer account in system and maintain customer profile.
• Performs as a second level support for pricing as needed.
• Investigates pricing discrepancies; if unable to resolve, contacts sales to verify correct pricing information.
OTHER DUTIES
• Responsible for assisting with purchasing order and inventory management including system processing
• Assist with office admin and other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to enter orders efficiently and accurately
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• ERP systems – SAP preferred but not required
• Must be self-motivated
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage workload. Progressive problem solver

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
